Attending a Gig at Drygate – COVID Guidelines

We’re delighted to be getting back to live music and events. We want to keep our attendees safe, so we ask that you follow these rules while attending events with us:

Common Sense

·        Masks are still compulsory when arriving at the venue, leaving, ordering drinks at the bar, and visiting the bathroom.

·        Scan the track and trace code on your way into the venue – this is a legal requirement.

·        If you have any COVID symptoms – please do not attend an event or visit our venue. If you’re not sure what these are, see advice from the NHS here.

·        We’ve reduced our capacity to make space within the venue. Although social distancing is no longer required, be aware of those around you and respect their space.

Vaccination Passports

For gigs, we ask that guests are prepared to show proof of vaccination. This can be easily accessed through the NHS Scotland COVID Status app. If you’re exempt from vaccination, then please be prepared to a negative lateral flow result to gain entry. If you do not have a vaccine passport and the event is less than 500 you will require to show proof of a negative lateral flow result to gain entry.

Failure to follow these guidelines will result in you being refused access to the gig.

Lastly (and hopefully very obviously) if you have been identified as a close contact of a positive case, or record a positive result at testing – do not come to visit us. If you have any concerns about this policy or your ability to complete these steps, please get in touch with events@drygate.com.

A multifunctional hub for a variety of corporate, private and artistic events

Hosting a myriad of Glasgow’s dynamic and forward thinking events, Drygate works closely with its creative neighbours, encouraging both local and international collaborations.

We offer a raw and versatile experience in our spaces; a multifunctional hub for a variety of corporate, public and artistic events, equipped with a private bar, stage, projection screen, PA and a diverse range of lighting.

Exposed brick, geometric tilework and paint-flecked concrete establish an industrial style space that reflects the building’s rich history, while the awe-inspiring artwork adorning the walls pays tribute to local talent at Glasgow School of Art.

Our spaces are served by the Peaks Bar kitchen and equipped with a Drygate bar. You can also take full advantage of the famous Glasgow weather by stepping out onto our Terrace – the best beer garden on the West Coast.

The Drygate philosophy is “Open Doors, Open Minds”. Contact our events team to design and deliver your dream happenings under our iconic seven peaks.
